Alexis is the daughter of Basil and Bobbie, sister to Zoe. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Alexis now lives in New York City where she is a theater director. A graduate of Reed College (BA in Literature/Theater) and Columbia University (MFA Directing, Dean's Fellow), she enjoys working on projects as diverse as the staging of ancient Greek texts, the development of new plays, and the investigation of contemporary classics. Alexis is particularly fond of the movie and score for Big Wednesday and thinks that Cherry 2000 is an underrated cult classic.
