Basil is back in Los Angeles, and writing the score to The Touch, the directorial debut of Oscar-winning cinematographer Peter Pau (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). There will be approximately 80-minutes of music written for the film, with the scoring session to take place in May in Beijing. Basil is very excited about this project, because it gives him a whole new experience and an opportunity to work with various unique instruments.

Of special note is the trailer to The Touch, featuring original synth music that Basil wrote specifically for the marketing of the film.
